Our HOA finally approved raised beds (long story, three meetings, a petition) and I'm trying to order before spring prices go up. I don't have the tools or the patience to build frames myself this year, so I'm narrowing it down to a kit, and I keep going in circles between three options that keep coming up in other threads here:

  • Cedar panel kits — look the nicest, seem to be the forum favorite, but pricier up front.
  • Galvanized corrugated kits — the ones that look like stock tanks, supposedly last forever.
  • Composite/plastic kits — cheapest, but I've seen some complaints about warping in the heat.

If you bought an actual kit (not a DIY build) in the last few years — which one, what did you pay, and knowing what you know now, would you buy it again? Trying to get real answers before I order four of these things.
